Presses with large working range – TAURUS HP vacuum press with preheating station & parallel stroke

With its large working area, the TAURUS HP vacuum press is also ideally suited for industrial users. The large opening of 1,370 mm and the clamping dimension of 3,000 x 1,420 mm, allow gluing, veneering or coating even large parts. Alternatively, you can process several parts at the same time. The stable frame with the silicone membrane is moved by four massive pneumatic cylinders. These ensure that the membrane is pulled completely parallel over the workpiece to be processed. Distortion is reliably prevented in this way, even for parts with a large height.

REVO II pressure switch

Pressure monitoring ensures constant working conditions

Pressing with vacuum utilizes atmospheric pressure. If the space between the diaphragm and the workpiece is evacuated so that a vacuum is created, the diaphragm presses on the workpiece to be glued with a force of up to 10 t per square meter. The air pressure is not constant. To compensate for such meteorologically induced changes, the developers at BARTH have equipped the TAURUS HP vacuum press with preheating station & parallel stroke with the speed-up function. This ensures that you can preset a pressure value for the system that provides optimum quality when gluing moldings, veneering, wrapping or coating. If you want to achieve a specific pressure, with a conventional vacuum press you have to readjust as soon as the air pressure changes. With this model, the electronic pressure monitoring with REVO II pressure switch automatically sets the desired value.

Vacuum press with heating

If you want to process wood with the vacuum press, which has larger dimensions, you can preheat these parts. Below the support surface is a large heating plate. The set temperature is monitored electronically. The heating plate can be conveniently moved for loading or unloading with the help of a sturdy drawer guide. Like any machine or equipment from BARTH, the TAURUS HP vacuum press with preheating station & parallel stroke offers the best conditions for ergonomic working.

The equipment of the vacuum press HP ensures that the process times are reduced to a minimum. With this equipment, up to 50% higher pressure force can be achieved.
